Welcome to Year 6!

All the Year 6 staff are dedicated to helping all children develop and build upon the skills that they have learnt throughout their Primary School years with the aim of moulding them into well-rounded individuals who are ready to embark upon life in Secondary School.

In each of the three seasonal terms we study carefully selected topics which will enhance pupils’ skills, knowledge and understanding across the curriculum. 

We always encourage children to fulfil their potential and achieve the very best that they can be through taking due responsibility for their learning, both in school and at home. As part of their homework, children are given spellings to practise and in addition, children are expected to read regularly and continue to learn and master their times tables facts.
